👯 Is Monster Cable Worth It

All my cables are GC or similar stuff. Most are 10+ years old. I don't walk on them and I do my best not to put strain on them at an angle. IMO (and this has been discussed up to and adjacent to a holy war) Monster's products are 20% value by being the same quality as other products, and 80% value as propaganda to charge higher prices. I avoid I have a question on cables. I need a pair of 23' biwire cables to connect my Aerial LR5's to a Theta Dreadnaught amp. I have the opportunity to purchase a set of Monster Cables 2.4s biwire cable for about 60% off list, for a total of around $550. The Bettercables in a similar length is around 1/2 this cost. Tired: $42.99 isn't cheap for a cable (especially when many dock manufacturers throw in a 3.5mm mini plug cable for free); the Hydra is significantly bulkier than that free mini plug cable.
